Ask for the review at the table, not in a message the next day

Most diners who enjoyed the meal mean to leave a review and have forgotten by the time they reach home. A stand on the table or a code on the bill asks while they are still sitting there, and takes them to your Google review page in one tap.

Where to put it

Each place gets a review point of its own, with its own QR code, and on Reviews+ its own line in your numbers. Make as many as you need.

What your customer sees

On the free Review Link

They scan the code, and your Google review page opens. Nothing in between, and nothing to install. You see how many people opened it.

On Reviews+

They pick a rating out of five. At or above the number you choose, your Google review page opens by itself. Below it, they are offered a private message to you, and a Leave a Google review button stays on the same screen.

What you learn from it

Hear about a cold dish during service
On Reviews+, a low rating sends the manager an email the moment it is chosen, while the table may still be there to put right.
Which tables are asked, and which are not
On Reviews+, every review point has its own count of scans, ratings and Google clicks, so a stand nobody notices stands out.
When your busiest hours are
On Reviews Pro, ratings by hour of the day show whether the Friday rush rates you as well as a quiet lunch.
Clicks, not reviews
We count the people who opened your Google review page. We cannot see whether they went on to write one, so we never call it a review.

Do not offer a free dessert or a discount for a review. Google's rules do not allow rewards for reviews, and a stand works without one.

Questions

Can each table have its own code?

Yes. Make as many review points as you need. On the free Review Link they all open Google; on Reviews+ each one is counted on its own.

Will a low rating stop someone reaching Google?

No. On Reviews+ a lower rating is offered a private message to you, and the Leave a Google review button stays on the same screen. On the free plan everyone goes straight to Google.

Do diners need an app?

No. The code opens a page in the phone's browser. Nothing is installed, and nobody has to sign in.

What happens if I stop paying?

Every stand and code you printed keeps working and keeps sending people to your Google review page. Only the rating page, the private messages and the detailed counts stop.

Make your review link

Add your business, paste your Google review link, and print your first stand on one sheet of A4. It costs nothing, and a stand you print keeps working whatever you do with your plan afterwards.
