How to Move Your Linktree to Your Own Page

Most people who want to move a link page do not move it. Not because they are happy where they are, but because moving means opening two tabs and copying fifteen links across by hand, and there is always something more urgent.

So we built the copying part. You paste the address of your Linktree page, and your links arrive on a new page here in the same order you put them in. This guide explains what happens, what does not come with them, and what to do with your old link afterwards.

What you need

Your Linktree address. That is all.

It looks like linktr.ee/yourname. You do not need your Linktree password, and we never ask for it — we read the same public page any visitor sees. There is no file to export, and nothing to install.

Moving your page

  1. Go to the moving page and paste your Linktree address.
  2. Pick the name you want in your new link. We check it while you type and tell you whether it is free, before you sign in.
  3. Sign in. Your page is made and your links are copied onto it straight after.
  4. You land in the editor, looking at your new page.

It takes about a minute. If you would rather do it later from inside the app, the same import lives in the editor, under Links.

What comes over

What does not come over

We would rather say this now than let you find it afterwards.

When something cannot be copied — a picture we could not fetch, a link type we do not support — the import says so at the end, item by item. It does not fail quietly, and it does not stop everything else from arriving.

What to do with your old link

Nothing, at first. Both pages work.

When your new page looks the way you want it, change the link in your Instagram bio, your WhatsApp profile, your email signature — wherever your one link lives. People who follow the old link still reach your Linktree page until you take it down, so there is no moment where anyone hits a dead end.

If you add more links on Linktree later, you can run the import again. Links already on your page are left alone, so nothing is added twice.

Is it really free?

Yes. One page, as many links as you want, five looks, and your visitor counts for the last thirty days. It stays free — the paid plans we are building are for people who want more, and nothing you have today is taken away.

Move your page now — it takes about a minute.
